DELIVERY STORY / ENTERPRISE AI

Enterprise knowledge.
In the flow of work.

An AI assistant built to help employees find, understand and apply operational guidance from established enterprise knowledge sources.

DELIVERY PATTERN

The working journey.

A simplified view of the implementation pattern described in this delivery story.

  1. 01

    Employee question

A request in the SharePoint employee experience.

  2. 02

    Assistant

Copilot Studio uses the configured knowledge context.

  3. 03

    Source-backed guidance

A response connects the employee to the underlying material.

THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE

The knowledge exists.
People need a usable answer.

A distributed workforce needs practical guidance while carrying out day-to-day work. Searching across documents, interpreting lengthy procedures and finding the right source for a role can interrupt that work.

The user need

Ask a work-related question in natural language and receive a useful response grounded in the relevant organisational guidance.

The enterprise need

Keep authoritative content in its managed source locations, align the experience with the intended audience and provide an implementation that fits the organisation’s identity and release processes.

WHAT CONEXIQ BUILT

An enterprise knowledge assistant.

Conexiq developed an assistant using Copilot Studio and enterprise knowledge sources, with SharePoint as an employee access channel.

01

Conversational knowledge access

Employees can ask questions about guidance and procedures rather than having to know the document title or folder structure.

02

Answers grounded in organisational content

The assistant uses the configured knowledge sources to formulate responses and reference the underlying material. Source quality and answer evaluation are part of the solution design.

03

Audience-aware knowledge design

Knowledge sources are organised around the relevant user audiences. The experience is designed to preserve the original source locations and the organisation’s content ownership.

04

Enterprise authentication and integration

SharePoint integration, application identity and invocation permissions are treated as explicit architecture concerns, with pilot access and rollout governed by the organisation’s delivery process.

THE USER JOURNEY

From question to source-backed guidance.

01

Ask

Describe the operational question.

02

Retrieve

Use the configured enterprise knowledge.

03

Understand

Read the response in the context of the task.

04

Inspect

Follow references to the original guidance.

THE VALUE OF THE APPROACH

Make existing knowledge more usable.

The assistant brings a conversational access layer to established content. Knowledge owners continue maintaining the authoritative material; employees gain a more direct route to the guidance they need.

Architecture disciplines

  • Copilot Studio assistant design
  • SharePoint employee experience and SPFx integration
  • Audience-specific knowledge configuration
  • Entra application identity and delegated access design

Acceptance priorities

  • Representative operational questions
  • Faithful use of source guidance and references
  • Correct behaviour for the intended audiences
  • Authentication, permissions and pilot rollout readiness

LET’S BUILD THE NEXT CAPABILITY

Bring enterprise knowledge into your employees’ workflow.

Start with a business outcome. We will help define the architecture, the first release and the evidence needed to move forward.
